Please do any last minute checks if you are on the list and want to be taken off or if you want to be added to it. We have to have an even number and I do not really want to play so I am going to pick an alternate tomorrow and then randomly generate a draft order.

The way the draft will work, we will start tomorrow at around 6 pm. We can do it in this thread or I may make a new thread for it. I will update who has been picked and who is on each roster. People will have about 2 hrs to pick. If you don't pick in that time, we move on to the next person, but then when you log on you can pick immediately whoever is left. The time limit will stop from 12:00 am EST to 10 am EST the next day. If you are on the clock you can pick even after the time limit has stopped, and in fact we really don't want to wait 2 hours between picks. If you are up, go ahead and pick. If you are going to be gone for a while, send me a PM of who you want or give me some options like:

Next pick: 1st choice - this QB, 2nd Choice - this QB, 3rd choice, this DST or whatever.

If you do this it will keep things moving along very quickly and smoothly. I am not playing so I have no vested interest in who gets what player. I will just work through the PMs in pick order, i.e. I will do it like you would if you were online to make the pick yourself.

Remember you are drafting 13 players total. Consult this thread for details on the roster and scoring if you have forgotten http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4961273&page=1#46017838 but when I update who you will drafted I will do it in the roster format so you can see what holes you need to fill.

If someone misses 2 or 3 picks (depending how fast they are coming in), they may be booted and the alternate will take that spot. I haven't yet decided if I will pick for them like the CPU would in an online fantasy draft.

You can take me off the list. Between today and the weekend I'm looking @ little to no time for this and the potential to log in with 10 picks waiting for me or having already been booted. Great idea and organization it's just not fitting my schedule right now. Good work tpat!

For those drafting I am adding the following draft rules:

You cannot draft a second QB, TE, KR, K until round 11.
The max number of RBs you can have is 5 (ie one of your reserves must be something other than a RB).
The max number of WRs you can have is 5 (ie one of your reserves must be something other than a WR).
The max number of DSTs you can have is 2.

When we do the draft I am going to let the next person pick when someone misses a pick but this should prevent all the position players from being gone. It should also minimize hoarding. There is no real reason to hoard that I can see except to be devious but this is GLB. I wouldn't put it past one of you to draft 4 QBs just for lols.
