ok, I'm probably going to get harsh responses, but why is glb on the decline?
Who says it's on the decline? Unless you heard it from an admin I wouldn't put much stock in it.

It's been around for four years, which is an eternity for an internet browser game. Everything runs its course and expires eventually.
From everything I've ever seen posted you can break it down into 2 categories;
#1, is there less players now than there have been? Yes. That much I've seen posted enough to believe (even though the admins won't really confirm usually). However, it fluctuates a little always (a few come in... a few leave). Mostly it doesn't really "grow" much because it's still in BETA and will probably not grow until it is out of Beta... so in that respect, yes... a slight decline. But, however...
#2, Many changes have been made to the game to improve it (and, I feel, mostly successful changes) and de-bug it and make it more user friendly. In that regard it's definitely NOT in decline.
My only worry is that GLB will fall into the "just one more little fix/tweak/repair" mindset and lose whatever momentum it still has among it's current users.

I would rather use common sense, tbh. The admins are not going to tell you the game is suffering because that hurts their bottom line.
The facts are:
- Thousands of teams have been wiped and there still aren't enough players to fill half the frickin' teams. FA market is absolute crap now. Not as in the dots there are bad but rather...there are no dots.
- Overall forum activity is way down.
- Many notable users have left and not been replaced.
- The way the game has been nickel and diming us the last year or two (CE bonus upgrades, RPs rather than flex, ect...)
Don't get me wrong. I love this game and would love to see the devs put some effort into building the userbase back up, but I don't see it happening. I've been reading people (a couple of mods) say the admins have something up their collective sleeve that will bring life back into this game. I highly doubt it. If they do they are really stupid for waiting until such a large portion of the userbase has left to pull the proverbial ace from the sleeve.
