Simple enough. I read on the projects tab inside the changelog label that Bort was planning a horizontal view. Not sure what that means but what I'd like to see is a view of the football field from the sidelines as if you were on the field at the time.

For instance, When you click on a sideline view, the Replay screen will turn into a 2D (or something close) view of the field and the players and the screen will move relative to the football (the football will always be at the center of the replay screen).

Also something else to add is have Coach dots (HC, OC, DC, ST, CFO, ASST OC, ASST DC, and Scout, and players; no lolgms because too many would clog up the sideline, a), on the sidelines as well. This may mean extending the field for replays to fit both team's coaches. Make the coaches move randomly as if they were paroling the sidelines as in real life. If a team does not have a certain staff position then simply do not have a dot on the field for that position (if you know what I mean)

Not sure how hard it would be to program this but it would make replays much more enjoyable. I thought I saw this suggested before but I couldn't find it so sorry if someone else suggested it.

what if my OC wants to coach from the booth though?

all in all... I think this is way to much coding and graphics work for a minimal output that only serves a "cool factor"... although, to make it a replay that loaded in decent time the graphics would have to be so laughable that it would mostly be for camp value

No option, just regular view, horizontal view, and sideline view.

I don't think there would be a lot of more coding added since bort is already adding a horizontal view (Again, I cannot confirm this since I'm reading from what is said in the changelog). Just make another view from the sidelines based of the horizontal view and add the extra dots on the sidelines.

there is horizontal view . instead of dots moving up and down to endzones on the screen, they go side to side.

For some reason I thought the changelog meant a literal horizontal view. Instead of viewing the stadium currently you would view the stadium from the sides if you know what I mean.

Personally I do not think this is something I would want. this game will never have graphics of say a madden type of football game. so the current view is fine with me.

I know, I don't expect Madden - level graphics I would just be interested in lines and colors filing in the lines to create the sideline view. Nothing fancy.

I can understand that and I don't have a real problem with it. I just don't see it as a upgrade to what we have really. if we could get some graphics that wee real animated people instead of dots or something more life like I could maybe get behind the suggestion. but just to change the way I am looking at Dots move isn't gonna help much.

Understood and that's why I think most people will reject it. Right now replays are boring for me and that's nothing on GLB, it's just me, it would just make it more fun to watch replays on the sideline.

I really don't follow how it would be much difference in reality. with the graphics GLB has you wouldn't be able to see much of anything from a sideline view except a big blob of dots. you couldn't see the formations or anything for that matter it wouldn't be like watching real people play the game.

For that I suppose there could a label up at the top of the screen that tells you which formations the offense and defense teams are for that replay.

possibly it just seems like alot of coding and changes for no return. but best of luck to you trying to get it implemented.
