Okay, another WTF moment in GLB land. A professional football player who is a Left Tackle, with a Defensive End in front of him and no help at all behind or to his left, elects to block the DT (who is already being blocked by a G and a Center) and ignore the RDE.

Okay I get it he failed a vision check. Riiiight.

Give me the tactical option to assign a blocker a defender whom he will ALWAYS block.

Or at least give me a slider to weigh how likely he is to have a wandering eye.

That way I can be mad at me, instead of frakking furious with Bort.

Would you +1 a suggestion that blockers not be capable of such glaringly stupid errors with a vision anywhere north of 60?

Seriously yello1 when it comes to your suggestions I try to avoid any real discussions. Because everytime I have tried to discuss anything you or one of your stupid little minions turn it into a childish argument.

He's got a point outside blocking blows still especially on sweeps and guards pulling. WR built as blockers can't seem to hold a block they get ran through like a car wash. And QB rollout plays the FB and HB blocking or path to block blows. QBs don't follow their blockers this season but always seem to cut outside ... id post links but I'm on my phone so sorry

Sure, I will +1 this. Now granted, this means no whining when you start seeing DCs dropping those DE into pass cover and blitzing more LBs.

That would be the cost of the change no doubt.

Slider would be a middle ground.

We have been suggesting to bort to set up a blocking ai to pick the defenders you want blocked by who. Not sure it will ever happen though as it is likely a coding nightmare.

On the bright side if it did happen and worked correctly, catch was open to the idea of unlocking the dpc constaints.

Of course this is all a pipe dream.
