What's the point of playing if the CB or safety stays in front of the WR/TE the entire route and does not even break on the ball? He does not even know where the route is going yet they run in front of the WR or TE. I think most of the time the CB stays behind or along side of the WR/TE.

Also I know some of the impossible catches will happen but they happen a lot more than they should.

I know I am a negative person but this just bugs the shit out of me.

A very naive question. What is the tactics used ?

I am quite sure from seeing most of your comments of defense that it would bug the shit out of you even more if you were constantly being burnt for TD's due to said suggestion.

at least I could say then that the CB got burnt due to speed versus the QB throwing short.

Not having logic about the game forces pointless suggests.

im too lazy to look for the quote but your screen isnt always what happens with the sim. its just supposed to give you a general idea of whats going on.

Opposing QB had a respectable but not out of line 64% completion rate.

If the SIM is adjusted as you suggest, we're back to QB's being totally unable to complete passes.
