Well the secret is out, Brick can't spell and will just accept whatever the 1st thing the spell checker will spit out for an option. Hence the Regulation/Relegation mix up the last few weeks. Anyway, on with the show.

The major components of the rankings are as follows:
Strength of Schedule (SOS): The winning percentage of your opponents to date.
Quality of Wins (QW): Bonus points are awarded for every win based on the opponents winning percentage. So if you beat a winless team, you get nothing, if you beat a previously undefeated team, big bonus.
Offensive Points Over Average (OPOA): If you opponent averages 14 points against and you score 17, you get +3 in the ranking.
Defensive Points Under Average (DPUA): If your opponent averages 21 points scored and you allow 14 you get +7 in the ranking.
Some surprising movement this week, some not so surprising movement this week and the general surprise that this is posted just a couple hours after game time. You can thank our nightly thunderstorms here in Pittsburgh for canceling my plans and giving me some time to do this rather than anything productive.
Contenders
#1 – Oakland Nation (9-0, rank 38.79) (Last Week #1, Same)
The Nations defense bent, but didn't break against the Paraplegics in another shutout victory for Oakland. Now things get tough for the Nation as the Austin Breakers come the the crypt. Will the Davis Memorial Coliseum live up to its rep as “The place opposing offenses go to die” or will the toughest challenge for Oakland since week 1 be too much.
#2 - Louisville Baby Kittens (9-0, rank 33.63) (Last Week #3, +1)
The Baby Kittens jump over the Penguins in our rankings thanks to a win over Saginaw closing the gap in the quality win column. They will get no such bonus this week as it will take a shutout and at least 78 points to impress the spreadsheet as they face Richmond.
#3 - Atlanta Purple Penguins (9-0, rank 33.37) (Last Week #2, -1)
The Penguins did what they had to do against River City, but in the end it wasn't quite enough to hold onto the #2 spot in the Rankings. They face much stiffer competition this week as the Armageddon comes to town, intent on upsetting the Purple ones.
#4 – Austin Alcoholics (9-0, rank 30.70) (Last Week #4, Same)
Austin A. continued their dominant ways, spanking the Mels 22-3. Next up on the Dance card is the Texas Two Steppers in what should be an excellent warm up game for Austin going into their week 11 match-up with Oakland.
#5 – Niagara Rapids (7-2, rank 26.22) (Last Week #5, Same)
Niagara proved that they are no Service Academy, treating the South Bend squad the way any major program does, by blowing them out on NBC. Red Bank and their tough defense is up next in what is sure to be one of the better games in week 10.
2nd tier
#6 - Austin Breakers (7-2, rank 22.59) (Last Week #9, +3)
The pressure is on in the BBB#7 game of the week vs. Oakland.
#7 Anchorage Vikings (8-1, rank 22.38) (Last Week #6, -1)
Currently tied for weakest SOS, things get tougher from here.
#8 - Lincoln Freedom Warriors (7-2, rank 21.83) (Last Week #8, Same)
Regained momentum vs. Jax Beach, next up is Roswell.
#9 Appalachian Lycans (6-3, rank 19.99) (Last Week #7, +2)
Still not a cat, which is sad, because I don't have much to say about Lycans.
#10 Texas Tarheels (4-5, rank 17.15) (Last Week #10, Same)
Holding on to their Top-10 position by .05 points thanks to a win vs. Big Money.
Need to turn it up a notch

#22 Chicago Whodat’s (5-4, rank 6.78) (Last Week #21, -1)
#23 Jax Beach Juggernauts (3-5-1, rank 5.75) (Last Week #23, same)
