Its crazy how time demanding this game is. A couple of little things would help fix that.
On the play summary, in gamelogs and in the play by play and also the box score, include the name of the offensive play called, and the formation and number of men in deep zone of the defense (so it would say 34 C1 or 326 C2 or 43 C0 etc). The cover should be the players who dropped into Cover during the play even if it was as a secondary, unless that's too hard to do? If the cover count is too hard to sort out, at least the base formation might give some information.
On the Game Log add a filter that, call it Named or Touches and Tackles etc, and have that list only include plays where the player carried, threw, attempted a catch, or made or attempted a tackle or deflection.
