This must have been suggested before, but...
The current offer settings is nice. But the game needs more. Here is an example as to why and then the suggestion to fix.
Example. I need one LOT and one ROTs. Despite pre-Day41 efforts I was unable to get committed dots. So I send out several offers to LOTs and ROTs.
Despite monitoring the game closely, one and then a second ROT accept my offers before I get a chance to cancel the ROT offers. Now I either have to roll with 3 ROTs and 1 LOT, or 5 OTs, or release someone eating an additional chemistry and annoying someone who thought they had a slot and just cancelled all the offers they had to come play with me. Not fun. I'm going to go with the 3LOT or 5 OT option. But if I needed that slot of the 55 then I would have to annoy a GLB customer besides myself. And the other options annoy too, since they will get less play time and or get beat up against a type of DE they were not built for.
Solution - have the settings able as an option to be set to specific Depth Chart positions, and have the OPTION of assigning an offer to a specific Depth Chart position. Thus if I only want two LOTs on my team, then I can set the LOT limiter setting to 2 and then send out LOT offers till the cows come home and no matter how many I send out the first two who accept will be the only two I sign, so long as I tag the offer as an LOT offer.
Details. Have four settings for OTs, General OT, LOT, ROT, STOP OT. Offers sent without tags would increment the General OT. LOT, ROT, STOP OT would increment their specific OT setting AND the general setting.
The latter point would help with CBs and WRs or HBs for example. I might be will to have no more than 3 possession wide receivers, 3 speed WRs, or 1 Power Wide Receiver, but not want more than 6 WRs over all. So I set those settings and when the total hits 6 the whole position class locks up and I get whatever mix accepted, be it 2 4 and 0 or 3 2 and 1, etc.
This seems to me to be doable and well worth adding to the recruiting system.
You agree?
This would also allow me to set some
