Just crossed my mind and wanted to offer this as a suggestion that relates to planning, since we don't have team calendar system or something liken to that set up.
Create an option for reminders that can be set to be sent for particulars dates. This will be multi-beneficial and effective in game planning, boosting, recruiting, trading, tactics, etc.
These reminders would be set in advance of the dates, and would be sent to your own inbox, maybe also to others (not sure about that yet).
