I know that they don't count in the minor leagues, but there should be greater emphasis on greatness at the highest levels. There is a gap between the competition in WL and National Pro, and there is a HUGE gap between Regional Pro and National Pro. Despite this, as I understand it all of the stats accumulated are the same. This leads to players camping in Regional Pro to stat pad so they can bump their rankings.

Example:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=1801805 - #1 ST player
7 ST MVPs, but only 1 in Casual Pro, 1 in regional Casual Pro, and the rest were in minors. He played the majority of his career in Regional Pro or lower.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=1843770 - #4 ST player
8 ST MVPs, with 6 of them coming in USA Pro. Majority of career has been in USA Pro.

Edited for S28 MVP

This is just one example, but it is the equivalent of comparing the accomplishments of a high school QB to those of college and NFL QBs. The stats are against inferior competition, which is why those who achieve at a high level in WL should get a bonus to their HOF score, and National Pro should receive one was well, albeit a smaller bonus.

The HOF players should be selected by have the game to use a system that would pick players it thought should be eligible after a certain point of their career or age and put those players into groups for the GLB community to vote on I would be down for that, this system would also create more user interaction.

This could be something fun to do during the off season to help kill boredom.

I don't want this community to vote on much of anything, sorry.

+1, but WL needs to have a huge, huge advantage here. It's the only league in the game where there is parity and no ability for a dot to rack up stats against gutted competition. Even with blowout adjusted stats, those stats are way too valuable, especially for returners.

+1

Though I would +2 to having a HoFame for each league and only count stats in that league towards them.

Agree with Yelloa here.

Have divisions of the HoF, based on where players played the majority of their careers. Simple math dictates that there simply isn't enough positions for every player to make the WL even if they were good enough and wanted to.

You don't even need to worry about where they played the most.

Just use the stats generated in those leagues.

An NFL player can be in the NFL hall of fame and also the college hall of fame and the hall of fame of their college itself as well as their high school and heck Pop Warner probably keeps records too, each only recording the perfomance of the athlete in that league, conference, school, team.
