Tight spiral is supposed to improve the pass quality as it levels up, but does anybody know what sort of percentage it improves it by?

I'm trying to work out what's best for the custom equipment next upgrade. I have two pieces with +5% already, and the second one only gives half the actual improvement (so I get +19.5 instead of +26). If I add pass quality +3% to my custom equipment will I get the full amount added? Would tight spiral make more sense (it is also a favoured SA)?

Personally i would go TS, the third PQ% is just too much lost for my taste.

Do I still lose some of the 3% if this is custom equipment (i.e. not advanced equipment; but that one piece which also allows you to add +1 to all SPs of one particular tree)

yes my qb got a 1.5% bonus.

third piece will give 1/3 , so if its +15% total you get 5%

Actually its worse then that a 3rd piece is actually only 1/4

oh? yuck, thought it was 1/3 even worse

General concensus is that 3rd % pc not worth it.
Mine has 2 - 5% PQ & 1 - 5% PD & 4th in either FldGen or considering TurnShlder.
Tight Spiral is early in SA tree, so fairly easy to pump w/ SPs.
IMO.

Just to clarify, this isn't a 3rd piece of equipment or a 4th one... this is the Custom Equipment (the one with up to +6 attribute, and then 3 further updates possible at different levels. Does that also have a reduction? It allows up +3% pass quality.

I certainly won't be getting a "normal" 3rd piece with pass quality though based on the above.

EQ from custom or endorsement all suffer from diminishing returns

yeah 3rd piece isnt worth it
