at a certain point, most of us realize that if they arent going to do something correctly, they will likely put in a heavily bugged version. so in theory, you are correct, but in reality, we've all been burned too much to know that there is zero chance that this would be well implemented.

Thats why they should have an application process for a league of this type. Make someone commit fully to the league. Every team would start at the same level and all the teams in the divisions would start from scratch.

If you want to be in the league you have to have been an owner for at least a couple seasons prior to signing up. They start with 1 league like this and see how it goes. Make every owner who wants to sign up commit in advance like 4-8 seasons worth of flex. Just a rough idea.

Im sure plenty of people would throw out the flex for something like this. Just think of all the trash talk and rivalries there would be. SOme teams would suck but hopefully in a close knit setting like that they will improve a little quicker then just in a normal league.

There could be a whole slew of ideas to go along with this but that can wait for another day.
