Yeah, would be good to get rid of it for aesthetic reasons.

But, I think you'll be lucky, as those free ones are put there as a placeholder so you can't get more free EQ.

How about an ability to minimise the bits not equipped?

Well, you can only add one free set of EQ, so every time you delete it, you are adding one set of free EQ

Eh, I think I'd rather the quick utility editor only recognize equipped EQ.

This

Also there are times when a dot has gone into decline or just become surplussage or I have had a tough time filling a slot and he goes OOP where I have swapped the Basic Equipment for the AEQ for a season. IE A LOT with an agility protector AEQ who has to fill a gap at ROT for a season. Or a CB with some agility/vision boosting deflect gear who is spending his 476+ season(s) as a ST player who might want to bring in pure speed, a running HB who has been relegated to blocking duties etc etc etc.

I'm anal retentive, so I upgrade all the basic EQ I'm not wearing.

me too, but my basic eq is different from the aeq, so i can easily modify a build just by changing eq

I can see Doobas' (tm) point about the placeholder thing.

Make the free EQ only deletable in the offseason, at same time it is reset-able
