No clue what anybody would think about this or if its ever been suggested but,

I was thinking in public forums such as this, it would be nice if there was an option to recomend a post in a forum which would essentialy tell people it is a post worth reading. What does everybody think?

I think it would get abused

Our ability to quote a post and type "+1" to it does this well enough.
