see http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4889826 was moved to "not a bug"

the problem is that in some cases, depending on whether a dot is on a team that plays on an odd or even day early in their career, teams can face unbalanced matchups down the road, even in playoff games, where one team potentially is all one level higher than another team (assuming both teams have been together since their first day).

suggestion is for all Rookie teams to play their games on the same days, regardless of which league they are in, likewise all Sophomore teams and likewise all Prep teams (though there would be no need for all three to be on the same days as each other) and even University teams if the problem can extend beyond the level 32 game XP barrier (I doubt it does)., so that future matchups are never uneven

Has also been suggested to have all Pee Wee teams start play on whatever the first day of the season is so that all dots qualify for level 16 EQ--this is a separate issue from balance/fairness, and I don't have a dog in that fight but that can be part of this suggestion too if its doable.

Really the only thing that could probably be done is to have all games for an age group to be scheduled on the same day throughout a player's career but I'm not sure that's something Bort wants to do.

So apparently its doable, just a matter of will or customer demand.

It sounds like chance (and not the RNG type) could potentially swing a game. I don't like that type of chance.

Wouldn't it make it easier to trade if everyone in an age bracket was playing the same day, they wouldn't have to worry about missing a game? +1

That is where I'm coming up with the trades but what do I know.

It's a shame the OP gets it wrong not just once (the only dots affected are non-boosters), but twice (pee wee teams want to play on the even days because they hit level 16 on day 40), because the suggestion is worth supporting for many other reasons. Thankfully, it's already been suggested on better merits and has long been up for voting. http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4631220

sorry, don't play pee wee and don't know the score there--was trying to include concerns brought up in the previous bugs discussion, perhaps should have left the explanation to others. Not sure about affecting only non-boosters though--is this true?

attn: Mod--can we merge and/or re-open the thread CDZYO mentions.
