I've given up on the issue.
I remember whining about the stupid fumble mechanics for 6 seasons straight and they didn't do shit about it either.
In S41 I'm sure defenses will be able to return interception again. I'm almost thinking about ragequitting.

At least the fumble recovery mechanics are fixed now. I've seen several picked up and returned this preseason, and even one picked up and advanced by the fumbling team.

NOW FIX THE IDIOTIC INTERCEPTION CODE!!!

If we are on the same timeline fumble recoveries were we are in for a 7 season wait.

Sounds about right for GLB, realistic Turnover mechanics and realistic Defensive behavior will always be on the backburner, while shitty sound during non-flash replays causing replays to crash internet browsers is a more pressing issue.

Encouraging or dumb luck? A pick where the dot makes the catch and keeps moving, but also doesn't cut on a dime and reverse course. He takes a step or 3 to make the turn. This actually resembles a real play. Of course, it's only 1 example, but 1 more than I had before.

This is STILL not right. Here's a prime example. DB makes an INT, and it can clearly be seen he's juggling the catch, possibly off balance. He falls down for a second. NO problem with this mechanism at all ... makes complete sense. He then proceeds to get up in a reasonable amount of time. Again, NO problem. But once he's up he's what, stuck in quick sand?
It looks like there's been at least an honest effort to correct the length of time for a fall down. But the issue has now moved on to the continuation of the play. Making a fast, agile dot stand there (instead of sitting there) waiting to be tackled is still not the final solution. We're getting there, but not there yet. Please review.

Another terrible play.
CB makes a perfect read, jumps the route, and makes an easy catch.
SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO START RUNNING RIGHT AWAY. Instead sits down and waits for the WR (who is running the opposite direction) to stop, turn around, and walk over to make the tackle.

Given the proximity of other O dots this probably doesn't result in a pick 6, but it sure as hell should have resulted in some sort of return yardage. FIX THIS GARBAGE!!!

Looks more like he probably had to jump to snatch the interception. Momentum of jumping in one direction and having to gather himself in order to secure the ball, get his footing, and then run in the other direction.

If he had to jump THAT high it would have to have been one hell of a "pop up" pass given the short distance it traveled. Either that or an absolute rocket that was just thrown high, but that isn't the type of pass shown in the replay.
