on deep balls where the WR has the defenders beat deep, the QB should always error on the "over thrown" side. I'd rather see more over throws, and more catching in stride TDs than the current, throw and WR has to stop and let's defenders beat by 10 yards catch up

its not just the deep route. crossing routes are about the only thing that gets led right now... and they get led upfield instead of leading the route.
Have QBs lead targets better (Or at least, error on the side where there is no defense)

Might have to add AEQ or SA of IQ... any time I see some of this I wonder how smart these QBs are.
Originally posted by Chysil I've seen 90+ vision QBs screwing it up. In fact, I've seen just about every kind of build manage to lead poorly on a regular basis.
my personal favorite is a 98vision 160throwing QB who can't lead a receiver correctly.

Yes, let the receivers do the work via Ball Hawk and an inherent "catch up" ability (just a % boost to their speed once they recognize the overthrow via vision).
There are some beautiful "bad throws" where it mimics things perfectly.
Can we make the QB smart enough to see a WR on a crossing with open field and throw it in the right direction. I mean that could be up field or across field depending on the defense. If a QB is going to lead the WR should they not be able to see where the open field is. And this should require a pretty tough vision check so if a QB has low or even average vision they do it wrong.
