You mean like screen passes, which seem to result in jumping catch attempts most of the time? I bet it's already in the game. Some QBs just suck at placing, and some WRs just suck at jumping.

I'd say first fix the issue with the receivers having a 5 yard separation from the defender, only to have to stop and wait 3 seconds for the ball to reach him when it is thrown, thus allowing the defender to close the gap and deflect a pass that would have otherwise been an easy 6. Can't tell if this is the QBs fault or WAI.

go find a play where the QB actually leads any receiver correctly.

I'm pretty sure what this thread is suggesting is for QBs to have the ability to put "touch" on the ball.
