This should definitely be put in, as well as auto-upgrades imo.

+1, when you build a player the basic EQ should already be there. there is no reason to have to buy each piece, equip each piece and then add attributes.

It should automatically buy the basic in the attribute you have the highest

Autobuy for basic would not be a problem, can always reset in the off season.

Auto-upgrade would be nice - perhaps something similar to the auto-train feature ?
