I may possibly know someone who plays lord of the rings online.

That game's flex is called - well I forget but call it flex, same thing. You pay money, you get some.

BUT, if you accomplish in game accomplishments you ALSO get flex. Not much, five points here, ten points there, twenty points for something really nifty.

Why is it that the megacorporation thinks that trivial flex rewards for in game deeds is a great marketing ploy, but Bort deems it NGTH??????

Just thought to ponder.

As for an idea - Minor amounts of flex for Dot Awards, Conference Titles, the other Achievements that are in the pipeline. 5 here ten there wont hurt the bottom line but they will make people grind more and that means more active happy paying customers.

you answered it yourself already. He's deemed it NGTH. It's his game, and if he doesn't want to give out free flex he doesn't have too.
