I think you'd be surprised in the opposite direction. It's working on something that you can enjoy and take pride in, not working for bags of cash.

With a little elbow grease you can find Bort and DD's houses. I think that's a fair indicator.

It doesnt take away from the fact that they probably make more than enough cash to bring on a programmer or two to help out on the site for a while.

I have no idea what it could be, but I completely agree

that's a large part of the reason why there are so many teams and not enough players to go around. just doing players is amazingly boring. team management at least takes some actual time an effort.
