A posession reciever only needs enough speed to complete the route. You'll never cap enough speed to gain reliable seperation to be an effective possesion reciever. High agility will allow you to make cuts and stops that will cause coverage to pass right pass you. Focus on the run route, sticky and catch fake for your SAs (after stats of course).

Agility 83
catching 80
Vision 73
carrying73
jumping60
speed 60
conf 48
strength 48

no, most points in agility with maybe 10-20 in catching. You won't be getting any breakaway plays (not your job as Possession reciever) but you will reliably hit 68+ % receptions. Of course it's all a matter of how the OC uses the WR, most OC's don't find PWRs sexy and so don't use them often, but this is a cleaner version of the PWR I have and he has had 66% reception or better for 8+ seasons (in elite and national ppro leagues until this season) reguardless if he had 80, 50, or 30 receptions a season.

CAT and AGL gotta be your first two if you are using Possession archetype - and you will want to take them both to 81 at an absolute minimum - personally Id go SPD next, even though its a minor.

Here is my take on a Poss WR http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2153982

I went Catching 1st, Agi, Vis + Cry.

That's pretty close to how I have my Poss WR mapped out. What do you think you could have done differently to tweak his completion percentage up? Does he play exclusively in the slot?

Yes he plays exclusively as the wr3. This was one of my first multi trained dots, I'm pretty happy overall but wish I took Catching a little higher to maybe low 90s. He had a 69% completion rate last season before plateau in the Pros, not quite sure why the dropoff to 60% this season

Speedster gains 0.07 Spd more than possession from 1 to 21, then its 0.05 from 22 to 29, then it is 0.04 from 30 to 38, then it is 0.03 from there on until 79

Comes out to be: 1.4 Spd + .35 spd + 0.32 spd + 1.64 = 3.71 more speed from ALG. Not an amazingly big difference.

With going agi first what would want to go with next speed or catch?

build a power receiver instead, same thing but capping agility to like 81 early really sets the build.
