This game is all make believe so why not just say the Cut players are on waivers and get all theTP, XP and there salary form the team they were on till the season ends. That take care of all those problems and chemistry can be solved by just letting the team take the chemistry hit for every cut just like during the season. If they are in a hurry to rebuild thats the price they pay.... Like many posters said if someone wants to sign with a non playoff team before the season ends then that will create more pairity in the leagues and give the weaker teams an advantage... Most wont want to cuz they are not good enough and everyone wants to win a trophy...

So the teams not in the playoffs don't have to pay full salary, and get an early start on rebuilding chemistry...seems fair

-1 for the reasons taut listed. Non-playoff teams shouldn't receive any handouts for being inferior to playoff teams.

add in that cut players are screwed when it comes to training when not on a team (as noted by someone else).

-1 there's really no reason why players Need to be released. Especially if they can't sign

-1, exploit chemistry... cut a player early more time to recover your chemistry, more time to be at 100% while everyone else takes longer.

I would be fine with just being able to send offers that would be locked until the subjects current contract expired. An agent could "commit" which would lock him(and team) in to those agreements. Team must have an available slot or designate a player to drop.....
something like that.....
