I envision being able to select only certain threads to follow, and be alerted with some sort of icon or link that will take you to the recently posted to thread(s).

For example if you are wanting to monitor 4 threads, and only 2 have been posted to in the last few hours, only those 2 would show as links or icons and will take you directly to them when clicked.

Again, this would be only for the threads you subscribe to so it would be under the control of the user as to how many alerts, memos, or links they receive.

Similar to this script, which works wonderfully but only collects forums and not threads

Yea, it seems to have died. Looked at the suggestions up for a vote and it is not listed there yet.

Yeah, I wish they would remove the ones that have been implemented from the list. That would help out a little.

Oct 28 2011 is the last time I think that one was active. Hoping for this to get implemented soon.
