And Its always during the season so things go quicker then usually.

Of course this still has issues. Your owner can sit you for 4 games...and play 1. Or put you on the DC as QB#2 and give you zero plays. Like you said support is simply a better option that anything else we can come up with.

I guess the real situation here is keeping dots on the depth chart instead of the option to leave.

Nooooo to auto-adding to the depth chart. UGH.

I have several guys that are special teams - but we don't actually set up a special teams chart. We let the AI take the freshest and best for the job and put them in. The ones that are special teams only, I just don't put onto the main depth chart at all - which means they are freshest and they are always the ones to start filling out the special teams lineup.

Plus, on another team, we've purposely benched a player in a certain game because their build won't match up against the other team. For example, we had a monster MLB last season that wasn't very fast, but he was a big mountain in the middle of the field to stop the inside runs. We benched him two games of the season against teams that were all passing and liked to pick apart the middle of the field with fast people in the middle.

I would be freakin' LIVID if the machine screwed up my carefully planned depth chart. Livid. lol
