Currently a dot only shows up in the Special Teams section of the box score if it has a Tackle or Missed Tackle. This allows a coordinator to immediately see the number of ST reps a dot received the whole game without having to manually count in the replays.
There are plenty of owners / coordinators who would like to know at a glance how many ST reps all dots received regardless of stats. This helps them tweak settings and depth charts to maximize playing time in the offensive / defensive sets vs ST packages.
The amount of time currently wasted trying to count plays is just unnecessary when a simple play counter for all ST snaps could be implemented to show in the box score.
Suggestion addendum:
(Farlig) Even better would be to get only the plays under each section counted (so the defense section would only be plays while on D, etc).
