Have a tab that shows complete statistics for the player for all scrimmage games that season as he has for the complete regular season games.

Having so many scrims makes this very useful.

Okay I have to ask, why would you possibly -1 this idea?

What could be wrong with having more information????

because the info would be skewed. I use scrimmages to test things sometimes we go 100% run or 100% pass so the info that would be used wouldn't be very useful. except for some useless crap to try to weed through to get a very small amount of useful info.

I hope that was a good enough explanation for you.

Yup -- pretty obvious to anyone who took a few seconds to consider the suggestion.

Um yeah

But you realize that this information would help you more easily determine how effective your players are in those sims right?

Thats precisely why I asked for it. Because right now to see how well your player (yours or another agents player on your team) is doing you have to work a fair bit of clicking back and forth between each sim in the game log. Tedious to say the least. Having a summary page for the seasons scrims would make that a one click one glance activity.

To make that clear, lets say I am testing out inside runs, and I am also using all of my running backs in these runs to see not only which runs seem to be working for the team but also which running backs are the best performers.

Scouting my teams scrims will show me how well the team is doing. Clicking through each play type in the scout can help you find out how the players are doing, but a scrim summary on the player page would bring it all together much more tidily and compiled. Also some information is ONLY available in the summary (ie missed tackles, etc).

Its just more information compiled and easily available. There is no reason not to want this, its harmless at worst, and useful for those seeking information quickly.

you do realize that some of us aren't stupid and we understand the thinking behind your suggestion. what we do is offer another point of view to the discussion. so stop trying to patronize people for showing a different side of a argument.

and like I said above the information that you are asking for would be basically not worth a hill of beans in most cases. yes some teams take scrimmages seriously. others do not and there are even others that just use scrimmages as a way to work on simple things like passing progressions and tweaking their AI's. so essentially the information like I said in the above post wouldn't be as useful for most GLB users as you are saying. Your suggestion may help a few people like you are suggesting. but the majority of users it wouldn't help. the stats would easily be skewed and end up being just a big waste of time for the most part.

Well thats all well and good. Your reply just did not suggest that.

Now that your point is better made, the fact that it might help some users would suggest it would be in fact useful, no?

Does an idea have to help everyone for you to +1? Or just has to help you?

I plus one any potentially useful idea for anyone myself, barring some countering negative.

I see no negative to this one. There is even room to put a tab in without shrinking the others I think.

Also you may want to reconsider the relevance of scrims. Bort put this insta scrim thing in for a reason. First off it was requested, so folks value scrims more than you may think. Secondly its being used per chat here and that means the same, not to mention folks are paying for it which means they give the scrims real cash value. So if people are putting that much effort into it there would seem to be a good reason to allow them to gather as much data as possible from these scrims as possible and as easily as possible so that they may do it before running yet more scrims after making adjustments.

IMO anyway. Certainly yours might also be valid and is in any case certainly yours to have.

But I think its worth doing. Maybe not post haste, but it should go on the list.

Well thats all well and good. Your reply just did not suggest that.( how did it not I explained that the stats would be skewed and that most people wouldn't get much if any information from your suggestion)

Now that your point is better made, the fact that it might help some users would suggest it would be in fact useful, no? (again it would only help possibly a very small percentage of the user base. so I don't see implementing something if it doesn't benefit a majority of the users)

Does an idea have to help everyone for you to +1? Or just has to help you? ( I will give a +1 to any suggestion that I think would help the majority of the users on this site. I have in fact +1ed a few of your suggestions. so If I do not agree or do not see how it is beneficial to the majority I will not give it a +1)

I plus one any potentially useful idea for anyone myself, barring some countering negative.( That is you and thank GOD I am not you. so basically you have your opinion and I have mine. so you +1 whatever you want and I will do the same)

I see no negative to this one. There is even room to put a tab in without shrinking the others I think. ( the negative would be that it would be something that would have to be coded and implemented. for the users that didn't want this then it would become something else to have to deal with. sometimes more is not better)

Also you may want to reconsider the relevance of scrims. Bort put this insta scrim thing in for a reason. First off it was requested, so folks value scrims more than you may think. (again you need to stop trying to act like you know what everyone uses the scrimmages for. I personally scrimmage 20 to 30 times a season even before this insta scrimmage stuff was put in place. I was one of the ones that agreed that it would be useful. since me and most people that I know will use this to try out new plays and will actually just use it to see how inputs and plays fire from their AI's. so essentially not many people use the scrimmages as real games. most people will use a number of them as learning games where they try stuff out)

IMO anyway. Certainly yours might also be valid and is in any case certainly yours to have.( I agree to each his own)

But I think its worth doing. Maybe not post haste, but it should go on the list.
(and I do not think it is worth doing so we will have to agree to disagree)
