However, the non luddite world knows that starting your season out with tanked chemistry is a lousy situation to be in. The game just blows, you basically can write off your season, which means "Too bad come back in 50 days or so and try again next time, assuming anyone stays with your lame azz team after that chemical nightmare season you got coming".
Thats not exactly "fun" gaming, is it?
When I was orienting on a T-33 trainer back in the day, one of the safety devices was a big metal red thing shaped like a combat knife in the grip and like a dull knife/chisel kinda thing on the business end. The purpose of it, I was briefed, was to break the canopy should the canopy fail to jettison in an emergency. So if your plane was crashing and you wanted to eject but the canopy was stuck, you were to smash the glass and then climb out of the plane and bail. "Does that really work?" seemed a natural question. "Not really, but it gives you something to do on the ride in" was the reply.
Give us something to do when we are facing a chemistry induced bad trip of a season, GLB!
Give us some sort of activity, be it a team financial thing (retreats to exotic locations, swedish masseusses at training camp, extra large snack bars at camp and games etc), or a coaching ability thing (a tactical setting that somehow tweaks chemistry over something else), or a return of the player based Mentor VA but that just regenerates team chemistry or make it an additional power of Natural Leader etc etc etc.
SOMETHING
Give me something to do other than stare at a creeping chemistry marker ticking up two points a day.
just stop with the stupidity...
