If it's on the NGTH list, it's not going to change because of a suggestion post. If it's not on the list, the mods usually check with Catch22 or Bort (what does Digital Daggers do, anyway?) to see if it should be before locking.

+1, and you guys don't understand what NGTH stands for

NGTH = look, we probably should do it at some point but we really don't want to atm, so we'll keep putting it off until you can put enough pressure on us to do it!

Or until it becomes abundantly clear that its costing them money by not doing it.

-1. NGTH = At least at the time it was placed on the list, the Admins said absolutely no. At least 80% of the things on that list have no chance of ever happening, and the other 20% aren't likely to change because of suggestions.

This is currently how we do things. We run a lot of suggestions by admins before locking them nowadays, but there are some things that we will always lock.

Like this kind of thread, for example.
