This won't affect me this season but it has in the past. Owners that are looking to get in a certain league are going to have to wait quite a few days before receiving their team and the FA pool will be dried up.

If you release the new teams tomorrow, everyone is on an even playing field.

Since the site goes down for a lengthy amount of time on day 41 I've never really understood why so much shit has to be done after day 41.

actually has been relatively short time lately--i remember in the mid-teen season (15, 16) the downtime on day 41 being 10 hours or something

I'll give you a +1, but its still quite a bit better now that players get the full TP even if they're made a couple days late.
