- This would allow GM's more versatility in playcalling by enabling them to favor formations in the passing attack that may not be viable rushing formations against an upcoming opponent.

Unless you can suggest a viable defensive counter, this is NGTH.

There's nothing that needs countering. The D would call whatever plays it's calling now against whichever formation the offense selects based on how DAI is setup. This doesn't negatively impact defense at all.

You don't understand how Casual defense currently works then.....

It's irrelevant.
Casual is simple.
If you want to complicate things buy a regular team and play with the big boys.

That's the same crap said when ANY addition to casual AI is suggested...many of the recent additions to casual ai were greeted with the same b.s. when initially suggested. It's tired already so give it a rest.

^^^^ This i agree with. The Casual haters waste so much of there life spending hours upon hours game planning when at the end of the day, a win is a win is a win. My Casual pro team beats regular Ai all the fricking time and i spend 5 mins a day game planning. nuff said about that.
I do love casual league tactic upgrades but this one won't make a difference as the formation based calling as a whole is completely broken already.
I have many, many samples where its 0 accuracy each and every game. To separate pass and run per formation is a fine line between casual and regular game planning. If you wanted 30% pass out of single back and just 5% run out of single back, is the defense just suppose to keep their "generic" 4-3 strong or 4-3 weak to counter both?
Play calling is at least 50% randomly done by the cpu of GLB, if the defense is not specifically set to stop a guaranteed pass that the offense is all of a sudden favoring and allowed to call then its lopsided again.

And this is why you rage quit?
It's casual. Keep it that way or join the regular leagues. You do have a choice

But your not adding anything to the OP, your just making fun of him! Would this addition stress you out as a casual user if implemented???
No it wouldn't, your a prototypical casual league hater.

I am in no way making fun of him. And I am not adding anything to the OP in form of a +1 , but am in form of a -1 . I am stating my reasons why I think it would be a bad idea.
As for being a casual hater..... My current team "Hawaiian Kings" played in casual leagues from season 14(or earlier?) until season 24. After 10-12 seasons of not having full control of what my offense and defense attempts to do we moved to regular leagues (by purchasing a new team and moving the roster) yea, I don't like casual anymore, but I do not hate it , and absolutely see it's purpose. IMO that purpose is to keep it simple for the casual user that does not have a lot of time for all the stuff you have to do in regular leagues. Which is exactly why I think they should not add anything else to further complicate the casual leagues, such as what was suggested in the OP.
If they keep adding things it will make more work for those that do not want more work . You talked about all the changes made to casual and how the casual community embraced it, but most of the ones that where openly in favor of those changes have been playing casual leagues for quite some time , so they got to where it tool them 5 minutes to scout and set a gameplan. Keep adding stuff and the non-vocal casual league players are gonna get burnt out because they don't want to put in the time to counter the things opponents can now do.
In short, casual needs to follow the KISS method
Keep It Simple, Stupid
