Players who are on their last season in the contract should be able to post an ad.

this would also make mid season recruiting a bit easier for us owners.

I think they can within X amount of days (10 I think?) of contract's expiring

Definitely not 10 games - it's day 32 now and contracts end on 40. But yes - there is a point where you can run your ad before your contract actually ends. Just not sure when it is.

This is already in the game. It is 10-12 days before the end of the season, I can't remember exactly. You should check again because all my players with expiring contracts can put an ad in today.

Ahhh. Stupid me - I checked with a guy that has a "No Trade" clause. Checked with another that is expiring and yep - he can.

No trade clause seems to prevent it, though.
