I'm building this "good hands" type of W/R and have had him in the marketplace off and on this season without so much as a nibble. Is there no demand for possesion type players? Are they just not effective when they reach higher levels? He has 70 catches and just 2 drops thus far.....What am I missing? http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2489447

This. And splitting equipment generally isnt the greatest idea. There are exceptions.

Still working on the catching as well as speed vision etc...Ok I understand that but, 70 catches with 2 drops seems to be fairly effective. Thanks for the advise. I'll work on those.

D- League output is deceiving. Personally, I think if you paid more attention to cap building, you could produce a decent WR.

Unfortunately, many people THINK they know what a good WR should look like. Of course, what they think a WR should look like only catches 50% of their targets.
I agree with Mob in that you should build more efficiently by using the caps better. I'm sure the first thing that people notice is that he is only 31 effective level at level 31. He should be higher. That said, he is good enough that he should have no problem finding a team. It's not quite time for teams to be signing players yet.

Thanks for the input Dimo. I guess I need to better understand cap building. I thought it meant to not put points in things unless you can reach 48 or 60 or whatever, which I have done with this guy. I'll do more learning before I build another guy. As far as this player, his deficiencies will show up once he gets in a higher league it sounds like. Oh well live and learn right?

You built a WR when you should have built a scatback. WRs should be all run blockers in this sim.
