Being good at Pee Wee is a skill because everyone starts on a level playing field, blah, blah, blah, but with the age based leagues I found that the elite leagues were almost as competitive as PWG, without that annoying level one sim.

I think this might be one thing that could really revive Peewee. Pretty clear from all the current threads here and in the Peewee forums that there is a lot of dissatisfaction among Peewee agents & owners. Freshen it up. Change it entirely. Starting with much higher level dots would change people's perception of Peewee, attract more agents, open up new options for OCs and DCs, make people try new stuff. A lot of players who shun Peewee because it's perceived as a lame level 1 league would maybe think again given the chance to have a one-and-done dot who starts at level 40. It's a fast-track chance to have a mid-level player on demand, every season.

What do people think?

Maybe, depends how it was done, I guess. It would still retain the principle of one and done builds, just beginning at a higher level. I don't think you could (or should) have this and retain lvl 1 Peewee leagues. You'd just see even fewer people playing lvl 1 Peewee; the game's userbase isn't big enough to support yet more niche leagues, and I'd guess a lot of people would prefer the lvl 40 start.

Anyway, probably ngth, although someone somewhere said Bort was in favour of something along these lines at one point.
