as a coach, i have taken numerous teams to the playoffs, but glb does not provide an easy way to present a coaching resume, so you are welcome to click on my trophies tab to look at my qualifications. i have been here since s2, co-owned, HC'd, OC'd, DC'd, ST'd, recruited, scouted, etc. i don't purport to be an expert, but i would consider myself fairly experienced.
i am looking to improve my OC skills with a pass-heavy offense.
what i'm seeking:
* regular team - no casual (i love casual, but i cannot control what plays are called)
* regional minors or above (otherwise the builds will likely not be rounded out enough to see if the passing plays are actually working)
* competitive - you DO NOT need a fully boosted roster w/ custom CE, your team just needs to be pretty competitive within your conf. i am not looking for a powerhouse team in a cpu conf, nor am i seeking a cpu team in a powerhouse conf.
* roster - no cpu's on offense, a good passing qb, scat HB, scat FB, rec TE, and even a rushing QB would be good
since your competitiveness in your conf will be important, i will likely not make a decision until after rollover (unless it's a superb situation). back in the day when i had a LOT of time, i feel confident i could have taken any team to the playoffs by recruiting and coaching. i no longer have that time, so i cannot scrutinize every game, but i am also limiting the amount of teams i coach to dedicate some time to improving myself as an OC.
