Been wanting to retire this guy for seasons now, after he missed a season of boosts during the age-based sort...

Still has two more boosts (34 unspent SPs and lvl 72 cEQ upgrade, plus ALGs to add):

Thinking his SP value with hit close to 1250, so he's still semi-decent, right?

Worth keeping unless you need the flex. Get tackling to 60 so he can add DvG.

don't 'need' the flex, but have considered him fubared for a while. then, looking at FAs, etc., he doesn't look so bad. but his build has meandered after missing boosts and continuously keeping him alive by putting some here, then there, etc. to be capable at whatever level he was playing at

I'd keep him. Not bad at all really. Tackling is a solid suggestion as well.

Getting maxed pieces of make tackle and deflect ball would also help. Avoid fake might have some value, but not as much as those two.

Get tackle to 60, and then he is great imo.
