What should I have my passing style and passing priority at? Currently it's at:
Passing Style is -31 towards Bullet,
Passing Priority is 31 towards Route Distance

I have one main speed receiver and then one semi-fast receiver with good hands. A fairly good receiving core all together.

Any other advice would be great.

at the early ages i would have my qb throw lofty passes because i know that usually players first boost up their speed and their catching isn't all that great. also go towards more open man than route distance.

Granted, my QB is only a rookie too so I'm no expert, but... The open man/route distance is something I change at gametime. The more of a pass rush the opponent's defense has, the more I go toward open man. As raidersfan says, though - keep it below zero.

If there isn't a ton of pressure, he'll still make the deep pass. This replay is at a -60 toward the "open man" but since the pressure isn't much, he holds tight:

Lob/Bullet is something I adjust occassionally too, but not as much. For my rookie year, I keep it mostly on 0. If I had a team with a bunch of interceptions, I "bullet" it a bit. If I have a team with few interceptions and few batted balls, I move toward "lob" a bit to help my WR catch it (Speedster receivers are lucky to catch 20% of the deep passes you send their way in the rookie year and even sophomore, 40% is about tops on deep routes - everything you can do to help them catch it helps - but you have to watch out for a secondary that can catch). I think the most I ever had the nerve to slide that one was +/-20.
