The Sacramento South Side Psychos @ South Bend Red Raiders
After an overtime win over the Omaha BA Mofo’s the Psychos are on the up. With Drew Adams in flying form and the defence in top shape, things seem good. The fans are happy too, crack induced stabbings are up ten percent. Look into things deeper though and everything in Sacramento is far from rosy. 19 is the highest points total the Psychos have scored, and the red zone offense has stalled and settled for field goals time and time again. The Red Raiders are coming off a two game losing streak after a blistering start. They also lost the Championship game in the BBB leagues yet have adapted much more easily without looking stronger than the Psychos on paper. As we all know though, football is not played on paper. Psychos’ left tackle Franck Blackenbauer told me ‘I’m gonna pancake them so hard, maple syrup’s gonna come out of their ass!’ Clearly Franck is pumped up, as are all of Psycho Nation who have tattooed the Psycho logo on every animal in town’s ‘private parts’.

Joe Bob Thorton VERSUS Michael ‘Boogeyman’ Myers
Thorton has been the standout Red Raiders star with 8 scores and three times as many yards as the top Psycho running back Wayniac Maniac. He has a top line to give him holes and he knows how to exploit them. He has one weakness however, his slippery hands with nine career fumbles. Myers (probably the scariest man I’ve met, please don’t tell him though!) while not being the starter has the best chance to hit Thorton. Myers comes in against tired or second choice linemen, with the best chance to hit Thorton. A few bone crunching hits could sway this game for the Psychos.
My Prediction: Michael ‘Boogeyman’ Myers: I’m too scared to bet on Thorton!
Ican catch VERSUS Ruckus Distributor
Shockingly, Ican is behind only Drew Adams in first downs made. This could show the ineptitude of the running game, or how Drew loves to throw to Ican. With 360 yards receiving and no drops shows how solid he is. His only weakness is, like almost every Psycho the end zone. He hasn’t got near it despite the otherwise impressive numbers, all in all Ican is possession. Ruckus seems to be the perfect guy to shut him down. This is a similarly un-flashy character with no picks this season and only two missed tackles. His real strength is frustrating receivers with 21 passes defended, however with 35 tackles to his name may suggest a slight weak link in the armour.
My Prediction: Ruckus Distributor: he seems like the perfect man to stop Ican Catch.
