With the new CEQ and an exchange of a % piece, a player can automatically get 10 in any SA. I am strongly considering this for my FS...I don't think he needs his MT% piece anymore, and I was wondering what SA (other than SV/CD) you all think it would be good to get 10 in. Zone Focus maybe? First Step? Swat Ball?

dropping a mt piece is a risky proposition. But if you were to do it, with the way you worded your question I'd go swat ball. But since that's easy to get to 4 (or 6) I'd still keep the MT and only put 1 piece in it.
I've thought of combining an AEQ and the CEQ to give me 10 of an SA that I don't have and don't have the BTs to unlock on some of my builds though. But for ones that are so easy such as FS or swat ball I wouldn't burn two slots on them.

What about zone focus? I had a WL level safety that was pretty successful with 8 ZF. I have no idea if it was that SA or the rest of the build though. Is that SA useful?

couldn't really comment on that. I've seen a bunch of wl level safeties who have that as their additional SA but then never put points into it.
I'd say that if you hit your goals on everything else you might wanna look into it, but don't shortchange other important att's/SA's for it.

When you add an SA to your CEQ though, doesn't it just give you access to the ability? Meaning it would still be 0. You're not "gaining" anything, other than the simple access to adding SP's to it, yes?

no, CEQ can add up to +4 to any SA(s), in increments of +1/+1/+2

Adding an ability so you are able to add SP to it will cost you 35 BT (the first time). Choosing an AEQ with an SA you don't already have will NOT yield the same result.

On my level 45 HH SS I have a MT (fully upgraded), FF (fully upgraded), MH (no upgrades), and a DB (no upgrades). Should I exchange the DB for another MT or FF?

It's an option. When your SS is only getting 4 PD's a season, Deflect Ball seems a little wasted.
