what kind of speed would be needed for a blocking FB to stay infront of their HB at Pro/WL levels, provided the FB has 10 in First Step? I've heard 110 is good, Im just curious if that would be different with FS maxed out. Also is there a consensus on whether Strong Arm is any good for a FB? I'm wondering if I would be better off putting my remaining SP into Lead BLock or Strong Arm.

You don't really need that much speed to stay in front of the HB with 10 FS. You probably don't need more than 100-110 for that.

Can't give any advice to the LB / SA thing.. you need to open up your build for that.

Strong Arm is a pass blocking only SA. Lead Block would be much better, IMO.

FS won't help you until your FB stops. The initial blocking routes are scripted movements and have speed cappedm uch like the handoff, so it won't help you to sty in front of the HB unless you have to stop for some reason and then get moving again (i.e. pancake).

Doesn't FS make the FB get to speed cap faster from the snap?

Assuming that Scat/Elusive HBs will be over 160 Speed, would 12 FS and 135 Speed be enough for a Blocking FB?

Strong Arm is on FBs blocking tree and says nothing about for pass blocking only. It is also 4th on tree.
My question on LB is, does it only work on inside rushes as it says it helps leading thru the line?

Trust me, it only works on passing plays.

Per the wiki:

Look up "strong arm"

Question: strong arm SA, active on both run blocking and pass blocking?
Answer: Pass blocking only.

Lead Block works any time the FB is lead blocking for the HB so it can work on outsude rushes as well. You can use the wiki link provided to look it up if you wish.
