Ok for this rookie team im joining i decided to make a CB and well.. Ive made offensive players before but never defensive. So what i could use is a basic guide on how to build a man coverage corner back

Very, very basic guide, but pretty much this. Also aim for 10 SB, 10 SV, and 6 CD. 2 PD% pieces.

Depends how patient you are , and his height. If you go tall, i would do 73 vision second, and heavily enhance agility. It's almost worth making strength a multi-train, unless you are patient enough for your best years to be plateau and be alittle weaker on PD till you can afford to raise strength.
I'm usually patient, so do speed 77/81 , vision 73/77, then agility 81( with some capping of multi-trains to 48 after 61). I prefer agility, jumping, stamina as multi-trains, all at least 30% enhanced (6 seasons of multi-train, 5 of light, though not sure what that will translate to in new apd). Definitely listen to longhornfan1024 on SA goals.

is 83/77/81 too much (spd/vis/agi)?
and why stam > str? I thought str would be part of the PD roll?

stam is more important as CBs have way more speed than they used to and so they need more stamina in order to play at a higher level for more of the game. strength s still important as it plays into the tackle roll, break block roll (for pitches and such), and the PD roll when the receiver is also able to interact with the ball at the same time, but stamina is ultimately more important (although not by much, imo) for your standard cover CB.

I said Stam>STR because STR gains nothing from ALGs on a man corner, thus u must train stam before it or else u are not building effeciently.

With the new system, this is now obsolete.

I'd actually say strength is still okay around 50, but stamina should be closer to 65.
