Is there a consensus that boosting vision on DT's is waste of pts? Has anyone gotten vision past 30 on their DT?

i would focus my SPs mainly on strength until I hit 50.
I would put training on the lower stats, such as vision and confidence.

uhm... thanks. If you look at the bars on my 4 DT builds, they should be green enough to tip you off that, in each case, their STR is well in excess of 50.
Again does anyone have any experience with the effect of Vision on a DT build? Much obliged.

My lvl 20 DT has 34.72 vision. I think he performs OK, but I can't tell if thats because of vision.

Vision obviously helps to diagnose plays but what it also is handy for is getting off blocks. So vision is is a very valuable skill.

Digital Daggers said this, a top tier administrator, proof enough for me.
The way he put it was that vision lets your player see what technique a blocker is trying to use on him and adjust for it.

yeah, I've noticed shed block firing a lot more since I got blocking up on my DE.

No problem
I don't have a d-line player but I have been assigned by my team to research builds on different positions. DT is my first assignment and I'm just about done.
BTW, I have definitely noticed my linebacker getting off of blocks faster after training blocking some! I wouldn't spend skill points on it, just train it since you are likely to get .35-.45 points per day as of now. Agility is huge for getting off blocks as well and may help activate the shed block ability.

Vision apparently helps with preventing some Offensive Special Abilities (Juke, Pump Fake, etc..) from affecting the Defensive Player.
