Three main issues
If you create mid season you won't get to as a high a level at the end of the game, day 34 counts as mid season. He won't get to level 72 at end game which is an important level if you want to play top Continental Pro or WL.
He won't be eligible for the rookie league which means that he would have to play next season in Sophonmore where he will finish the season outleveled by around 7 levels by top teams.
The third issue is a little selfish and is that I am involved in two rookie teams that need a CB for next season
