...obviously, this seems counterintuitive.

Coverage sack? SAs?

Thanks for doing this; very interesting.

The other 2 DTs (between 75-83 tackling) combined for 3 missed tackles as their only stats

Keeping track of Deuteronomy - he had 1 tackle and 2 hurries

Do you think tackling may help break blocks?

At one time, Bort mentioned SP's in blocking for a DT has an effect. Is that still true? And how effective is it?

I'm considering experimenting with a high jumping, PD DT with VA's in Towering man and PD % eq. Obviously, tackling and strength will still be there as major attributes. But I'm wondering since DT's now have low sack capabilities and sometimes double digit hurries, maybe having a strong DT/NT who can knock down passes left and right would be more effective.

Has anyone tried experimenting with building a DT/NT with high PD capabilities?

Game 2

The fastest, lowest tackling DT had 1 tackle and 1 hurry.
The slowest, highest tackling DT had 2 tackles and 1 hurry.
The other 2 DTs combined for 3 hurries.

The reverse pancake totals for the 4 are
33
32
30
28

Keeping track of Deuteronomy

He had 2 tackles, 2 missed tackles, and 1 hurry vs the team that Alpine played week 1 (Lincoln). He did get more reverse pancakes though with 26 while the highest for Alpine DTs was 20.

If it did, you should see more reverse pancakes for the DTs with higher tackling. Not seeing it, nor have I seen it in the past.
