Great game for St. Louis today. I didn't get a chance to look at the details yet, but their Defense stopped us when they needed to and got the turnovers to seal it.

Tough game secondeye, certainly much closer than the score. id say switch to 100 percent fb run.

What's disappointing is we pegged their offensive game plan perfectly, did pretty good early on, and then the avalanche of turnovers kick in and we're down by that magic double digit and the roof just collapses.

Although we did have the early turnover which usually kills us, we actually did rebound a bit, but clearly we weren't the same team. Bad passes, drops, missed FGs completely out of character.. and we couldn't stop a third down. Double, triple coverage.. they extended drives.

They got the best of us, and I hope we play again, because that's not the way we're accustomed to playing, good teams or not.

That said, I firmly believe games are won and lost in the first quarter 90% of the time. Confidence and morale is everything. I don't know what the hell is going on, but 11 fumbles in two consecutive games is ridiculous. We have high carry, and our confidence is about the same as everyone elses I'm sure. I don't think anyone is skipping key stats to get 50 confidence outside of the few positions where it is one of the top 2 key stats.

I am working on a theory that fumbling has more to do with strength than csrrying. I think both stats are involved, but I've seen backs with high carry and low strength drop the ball like it was greased, while backs with high strength and not as much carry hang on to it like it was a breast.

Something isn't exactly what people think it is in that particular series of events (fumbles)

I have a theory, too. But it's not quite confirmed yet, so I don't really wanna share it till after the season. By then I will know.

I agree here. We have ran incredibly well in the luck department, but the way we have been playing, it was due to happen. We can't have 5 turnovers every game, no TDs, and win every time.
