Teams who will fight for a home game.
1. The New York Empire http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1434
-Boasting a cool EL and off the heels of their first WL run that didnt go too well. Cap't Uni and the crew will try to fight off the hounds in Garuda to get to another Super Wok, and WL trip.
2. Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1876
- Was the odds on favorite before NYE switched conferences, but they should still do great and make a run for the Wok. They have some decent coordinators, but their roster is aging so it could be now or never for the Kung Fu.
3. NBA Jam Extreme http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4431
- This is a tough choice, since their chemistry is shit as their old dots got called up (in a lateral movement) to Blaze in USPL. They have reloaded with a ton of former WL dots and if the cares are here for Jam, it could mean another WL trip for the gang.
4. Buffalo Rampage http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=3102
- They are always dangerous, but found themselves bounced in round 2 courtesy of the Kung Fu Academy. The ever talented Rampage would love nothing more than to get back to WL, but their clock is also ticking.
5. SDSU Aztecs http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=670
- Started off extremely hot last season but got dunked on by Jam and kinda fizzled out in the latter part of the season. Most of their dots just hit 72, and by conference play they will all be L72 and ready to try for a home game.
Fighting for a playoff position
6. Mandalay King Cobras http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=3133
- Had a solid season in S21, and pulled of a few upsets over the Cows (R.I.P.) and Jam. They look solid again this season, and should make the playoffs without too much to worry about.
7. Boston Bears http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1613
- They went 8-8 and missed the playoffs by 1 game last season. Good news for them is that Garuda loses 2 teams who were in front of them, and realistically only gets 1 team who will be in front of them. Decent looking roster, but I still give them an inside track for a playoff spot.
Scratching and clawing for a playoff berth.
8. 51st State Pirates http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=3320
- Going with a bit of a shocker for the final playoff spot, but they already have a full roster and while young, they have a solid EL and active agents. We saw a few young teams climb up last season, so they would be my pick to be the one this season.
9. Atlantic Great Whites http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=906
- The fared decently last season in SEA but didnt get wins over any playoff teams. Their roster looks alright and they could make a run for the 8 seed if they try at it.
10. Washington DC Donkey Punch http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=544
- They won their lolregional Pro conference so they know how to win (or do they
). Their roster looks ok but with the offseason ending soon, I will keep them here as they have a few important holes to fill.
