Have you EVER watched him play?

Because of his quote about being paid to defend passes not make tackles, TONS of people assume he was a piss poor tackler, which was not the case.
Most people don't consider him to be a piss poor tackler. But anyone who watched him play, has to admit he was a bit soft when it came to making the tackle. While he might have been techically good at making tackles, he often shied away from big hits.

A sack goes into the formula with twice the value of a hurry, as the latter might still lead to a completed pass.

BTW what happened to the London OLine Mike? Seems a far cry from last seasons 0 sack performance.

Nice work ZZ !

And as for our O-Line, a few key personnel losses and holding back on boosting to catch up have seen our O-Line stats dip a little in form.

And we are not dominating games like were did last season, so lots of last minute sacks trying to win games.

Sadly there is no easy way to see how often RBs were tackled for a loss, or I'd do a run blocking overview as well, to check out every RB individually is just a bit too much effort. Would be nice if that stat would be shown on the rushing leaders page, as well as broken tackles

This is in no way intended to hold my player up as a great CB. I'm just throwing some stats out there that may or may not be useful in determining what defines a average, good, or allstar cornerback.

Fran Roark, Fightin Texas Aggies - goes back and forth between being the 2nd corner and nickel corner.

36 total tackles: 18 on passes (2 on another player's man), 13 on rushes, 5 on special teams
3 missed tackles: 1 pass play, 2 rushing plays
9 passes defensed, 2 forced fumbles, 1 interception
1 passing TD allowed, 1 rushing TD allowed (a missed tackle above)
6 incomplete passes thrown to the receiver he was covering
2 tackles made by another player on the receiver he was covering

So...if we say that the ball is thrown at FR 35 times, he's given up 20 catches, a 43% "success" rate.

Edited to add game 7.

Pretty easy to find that out on the League pages.
