does anyone know for sure if a player's actual size matters? Would a 6'4" 280lb NT play just as good as one that was 6'0 330lbs with same skills?

My conclusion is that size matters, though not terribly significantly.

Example:
I have two DTs that have very similar builds (one has a couple more points in agility, the other a couple more in tackling due to differing starting rolls, but not a significant spread either way).

One is 278 lbs and 6'5":
Season G Tk MsTk Hry Sack SackYd TFL PD Int IntYd IntTD DefTD FFum FumRec Sfty
3 6 14 0 3 2 7 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

The other is 335 lbs and 6'1":

Season G Tk MsTk Hry Sack SackYd TFL PD Int IntYd IntTD DefTD FFum FumRec Sfty
3 6 17 0 8 2 9 3 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0

Similar stats, but the latter has more tackles, hurries, TFL, forced fumbles.. (though admittedly, he does get a few more plays/game as well).
Read into that what you want.

It has a very minimal impact. There is something there, but it isn't much of anything to worry about.

I believe that size is what determines your initial stats and nothing more...can anyone confirm/disprove this?

I'm not sure about that. I re-rolled about 50 times before I found a guy with stats I liked, and he's fairly small. 6'3 280, when other guys are 6'6 325 and with worse starting stats

Seems to me height should have some impact on PDs but I have no basis to prove it. Could be a very small effect if any.
