Top 10

1a - Asau Pirates (10-0) - Asua wins again. I am running out of things to say about this team. One tough matchup left against the Vipers week 13... not that it matters, Asua will be undefeated come the Championship game. That said, for the first time this season they have someone breathing down their neck... so much so they are sharing the #1 seed for now with a high probability of losing it here in the coming games.
Next Opponent: IC Incinerators (prediction: Asau by a lot)

1b - Indianapolis Gurupies (10-0) - Statement win for the Gurupies this week!! They still have Kingston, Banzai and Hong Kong on the schedule but I am going to go ahead and declare them OPL Alpha champs. Clearly, they are at another level along with Asua. Can you say hemisphere league... both teams will be undefeated when they play for the OPL Championship.
Next Opponent: Kingston Uprising (prediction: Indy by 27)

2 - Gold Coast Michelin Men (9-1) - Well, it was too good to be true as Gold Coast came crashing back down to earth. Its hard to drop them any lower though considering they have already beaten the rest of OPL Alpha (minus Stockholm). Anyway, they get a few games to dust themselves off before a big game against the Black Death.
Next Opponent: Florida BeachDogZ (prediction: GCMM by a lot)

3 - Banzai Pipeline 'Nites (9-1) - Banzai wins big as expected... just the result of SDS being 1-2 seasons too young. They remain idle for now but should be feeling nervous about their week 12 matuchup with Indy.
Next Opponent: Black Sea Storage (prediction: zzzzzzzzzzzzz)

4 - Stockholm Black Death (7-3) - Stockholm wins as expected. I never really feel like I have a good grasp of what this team is capable of. #4 seems awfully high for this team but after playing Indy as close as they did and no one else below them really doing anything to shine its hard to bump them down.
Next Opponent: Florida BeachDogZ (prediction: Stockholm by a lot)

5 - Syracuse Synergy (8-2) - Tough overtime lose to a very underrated Sumatra team. They drop but only a spot.. I still think Syracuse wins that matchup more times than not and have no problem keeping them here. Up next they play a young team with a lot fight in the Devils, however it should be an easy W for them this week.
Next Opponent: Budapest Devils (prediction: Syracuse by 42)

6 - Kingston Uprising (7-3) - Finally, Kingston gets another shot to show they made the right decision returning home and leaving an easy road through SAPL to the WL behind them. Unfortunately, the Gurupies improve with each game. Without any quality wins so far this season I dont see them starting here.
Next Opponent: Indianapolis Gurupies (prediction: Indy by 27)

7 - Sumatra Seahawks - (7-3) - At last, they are back in the top 10. To be honest, they would have been back a lot sooner if not for the brain fart against Kona... hell, they probably would be sitting at #4 ahead of Stockholm. A win against Oregon (their only tough game left) in week 13 and I am sure they will be right up there, if not before.
Next Opponent: San Diego Supa Chargers (prediction: Sumatra by a lot)

8 - Gold Coast Vipers (9-1) - The Vipers keep winning and yet I continue to hold them down in the rankings. I am sure many would think that a one loss team should be higher... well, all I see is one quality early win against Oregon and a loss to rival Sumatra, otherwise they have just won the games they should have won. This team will finish the regular season 13-3 and this ranking wont look as bad. Up next they face another team that probably feels they deserve to be ranked higher with a solid record to date. I expect Kona to put of a fight, but the Vipers are too strong and will send the Gold closer to an inevitable yet very respectable 11-5 regular season record.
Next Opponent: Kona Gold (prediction: Vipers by a lot)

9 - Hong Kong Voodoo (7-3) - Pretty boring second half of the season for Hong Kong. They have one more loss coming up and will finish the regular season at 12-4. Much like Sumatra, I would like to rank this team higher but that ugly loss to the Death Dealers still lingers. A strong showing against Indy would go along way toward putting that behind them.. also still have a shot to move up if teams ahead of them falter down the stretch.
Next Opponent: San Diego Scorpions (prediction: Hong Kong by a lot)

10 - Oregon Ducks (7-3) - Well, I found a way to get all of OPL's true contenders in the top 10 this week (no disrespect to the teams outside... Amersterdam, Kona, Budapest and potentially SDS will all be strong contenders next season). That said, I want to rank Oregon higher.. I really do. There is a reason I ranked them #4 to start the season. That said, their best win came against Kona. Sumatra in week 13 is their last chance to show they are the top 5 talent they were projected to be and not a borderline top 10 team. As it stands now it looks like they are destined to go one and done on the road in the playoffs.
Next Opponent: Gaul Cernunos Army (prediction: Oregon by a lot)

Good job, our chemistry is healing and HCreek, bug, and TBCE are doing work. I think you have us in the right spot. The Oregon game is huge for us.

Excellent job, but so are the Gurupies going to win by 31 or 27 this week? Conflicting post

I still wouldn't guarantee anything for us. Sure we will be the one seed, but the playoffs are so weird. I swear its a different sim. I will never guarantee anything when it comes to championship
