Because once you have spent three grand on a game, and seen it totally go to waste, you are not likely to hang around and spend another three grand applying what you learned. I certainly am not. When the recycled flex wears off, I'm going to be out of the player building business for the most part. I suspect player numbers in GLB are suggesting others feel the same way.

Roughly I am guestimating.

I started out with a team and some guys in oate season one/season 2, but recruiting was such an annoyance I went with a team of my own guys only, 44 or 45 of them (STOP was not something I thought about) and brought them up from season 6, plus a second and third wave.

That much boosting and gearing up is costly.

Of course 70% of it is walking around still, what didnt go to boosting youngins already. But that wont last long.

I'm probably close to $1500

I agree that a TON of people are playing on recycled flex. I know my number of players has gone down consistently with each "wave" of players my guys have made. I started with 8 on Devonport (down to 5 now). Have 2 on DV, 1 on NSW, and when the last group of players was made, I didn't even make one for the team. I will be playing this game for a couple of more years, but as time goes, it will be more and more just owning and coordinating until I just run out of flex and quit.

I will probably keep buying flex to run the teams. Maybe make a QB for them. WR, HB. Core offense. Maybe a LB....SS, need a quality SS...and....
